Ride Dedication

The 2007 Northern Tier ride is dedicated to the following people who, at the time of this writing, are suffering from the effects of lung disease:

Bill Paschke
Ginny Siddall
Patricia Greene

The ride is also in memory of the following people who have died directly or indirectly from lung disease and/or the effects of tobacco:

Cookie Aitro
Boppy
Rose Delcore
Blanche Fischer
George Fischer
Marilyn Settlemire

It is these people and their suffering that creates in me the drive to expend huge efforts for the American Lung Association of Maine.

My mother passed away after living with pulmonary fibrosis for several years. She was a wonderful lady and we miss her very much. We don't know why she got this disease, she was much younger than most who are diagnosed with it and she never smoked.

Thanks to all supported or participated in this ride. Maybe someday more will be known and others can avoid this terrible disease.
